Responsibilities:
• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools according to health and safety standards
• Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, including loading and unloading items
• Sort and store clean dishes and utensils in the appropriate areas
• Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing and kitchen areas, including sweeping and mopping floors
• Empty trash and remove kitchen waste to appropriate disposal areas
• Assist with kitchen prep tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen manager
• Report any maintenance or repair needs for dishwashing equipment
• Follow all Skillet’z Cafe sanitation and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen support role preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and handle hot items safely
• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Team player who works well with kitchen staff and other team members
