Description:
A Chick-fil-A Assistant Director is responsible for modeling the attitudes, actions, and appearance of an excellent Team Member and helping to lead other Team Members to fulfill their roles to help serve high-quality, fresh food, in a welcoming and hospitable environment, in a friendly and efficient manner, to the delight of all Guests. Assistant Directors also share responsibility for maintaining brand, safety and service standards and for creating a growth-oriented environment in which Team members can grow and thrive. This role takes 15 months to work into.

Accountability:
Assistant Directors are directly accountable to Directors and the Operator.

Desired Qualifications/Requirements
● Must be at least 18 years old.
● Must have at least 3 months and 300 hours experience as a Team Leader.
● Must meet all qualifications and requirements of a Team Member:
● Must display personal responsibility for attitude, actions and appearance.
● Must have a positive personality with a desire for personal and professional growth.
● Must have a coachable attitude that accepts responsibility and is eager to learn.
● Must have an eagerness for personal and professional excellence to reach and exceed goals.
● Must be willing to work hard and complete tasks as assigned.
● Must be able to work well with others to help accomplish a common goal.
● Should have an engaging and outgoing personality to interact well with Guests.
● Should be able to perform the necessary physical tasks required, which includes lifting objects up to 50lbs and being on his/her feet for the entirety of the shift.
● Must meet all qualifications and requirements of a Trainer in both houses:
● Must be self-motivated and display good time-management skills.
● Must be an effective communicator with a positive attitude to be able to encourage and coach others.
● Must have a willingness to participate in personal growth opportunities.
● Must be able to efficiently use technological apps, devices and platforms.
● Must have a thorough understanding of Chick-fil-A products and procedures, as well as specific policies and procedures of Chick-fil-A of Teterboro Landing.
● Must meet all the qualifications of a Team Leader:
● Must be effective at encouraging and inspiring others to accomplish their best, by providing timely, regular and honest feedback.
● Must demonstrate leadership qualities with the ability to lead, motivate and encourage a team.
● Must possess strong leadership skills with the ability to produce and maintain great results personally and professionally.
● Must be able to cast a vision, build and lead a team, develop a strategy, evaluate processes and execute the plan to bring the vision to reality.
● Required to work an average minimum of 35 hours per week.
● Should have a willingness to assist and work in the event of emergencies, urgent situations or necessities
● Must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays on during the same timeframe of availability during weekdays.
● Is expected to attend 90% of Leadership Meetings on an annual basis.


Responsibilities
● Continue to perform all the responsibilities of a Team Member:
● Performing their job responsibilities in a consistent, safe and efficient manner to meet and exceed Guest’s expectations.
● Demonstrating great team work by communicating clearly and consistently, and in a manner that demonstrates proactive, genuine and personal care.
● Perform daily positional checklists to maintain safety and quality standards.
● Clean and stock to maintain a safe and functioning work environment and Guest experience.
● Help to meet and exceed the G.R.E.A.T. expectations in the restaurant:
■ Guest service and delivery of remarkable food.
■ Responsibilities are consistently met and fulfilled on a daily basis.
■ Attention to detail while accomplishing tasks and responsibilities.
■ Equipment is carefully handled, maintained and thoroughly cleaned.
■ Team mindset that strives to reach goals through positive teamwork.
● Continue to perform all the responsibilities of a Trainer:
● Conduct training sessions with Team Members as assigned.
● Participate in evaluations and development of training skills.
● Assist in updating training materials and documentation.
