Job Summary: Chick-fil-A Kitchen Restaurant Director

The Director position will oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen area within the restaurant.

Leadership Responsibilities:

Coaches, hires and trains existing and new team members.
Ensures Proper Food Safety Standards.
Organizes and oversees the schedules.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Handles discipline as needed in accordance with restaurant policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversees customer service and food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
Evaluates labor and food costs and proactively seeks ways to reduce costs and improve overall efficiency of operations.
Manages proper inventory and purchases food and supplies.
Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance; schedules for service.
Maintains overview of sales projects and staffs/order product accordingly.
Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation as requested.


Required Skills/Abilities:

Commercial Kitchen Leadership Experience is a must.
Must have Open Full Time Availability
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing 5 STAR customer service.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
Ability to work outside for extended periods of time as needed to ensure efficient and effective restaurant operations.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
