Currently looking for a full-time Daytime FOH Assistant Manager. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic food & guest service professional to join our team at Kalapawai Cafe & Deli - Kailua Town!
The Daytime FOH Assistant Manager position requires a genuine interest in each guests' and employees' experience during their time with us...most importantly they perpetuate our culture of a friendly neighborhood cafe!
Duties will include:
-Following through on expectations set by the GM
-Product ordering and inventory control
-Checking in orders and writing checks
-Ensuring a high quality guest experience
-Guest complaint resolution
-Personnel management & conflict resolution
-Scheduling and staffing for your department
-General cleaning and facilities maintenance
-Overseeing quality control in your department
-Organization of prep, cleaning and duty lists
-Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

-Ability to problem solve independently and quick thinking on your feet
-Overseeing and assisting in training set by upper management
-Professional appearance
-Positive attitude and hard work
-Open availably to work including mornings, afternoons, weekends and holidays
-Organization & Punctuality
-The drive to "do what it takes" to create positive guest and employee experiences
-Ability to work well in team environment
-Registration with Honolulu Liquor Commission and valid "Blue Card"
-Perform well in high tempo and faced paced restaurant environment
-Valid TB test and Food Safety Certification
