New Store Opening Leader

The NSO Leader is a part of the CREAM's Learning and Training Team and will act as the communication conduit and operational expert in multiple new store locations. The NSO Leader will provide dynamic and energetic, hands-on training to field restaurants, implement new rollouts, execute new store opening training and monitor all aspects of field operations training. It is broad in scope, owning the complete store opening from training to opening day; including leading operations, community, teaching and demonstrations. The mission of the Leader is to create a world class New Store Opening experience that drives the store teams to customer readiness through best in class training, execution and standard operational excellence.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

* Utilize a variety of developed training techniques, concepts and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of the overall new store training program.
* Conduct pre and post training and store opening evaluations to assess the effectiveness of key initiatives and milestones.
* Evaluate and ensure consistency, escalate best practices, establish standards and complete audits of consistency/performance.
* Make recommendations to enhance field performance; partner with Store Operations to identify operational opportunities and propose solutions.
* Cohesively partner with store management team to ensure Store Opening Playbook is being utilized and followed daily.
* Effectively communicate and manage escalation points on all outstanding issues and partner with departmental points on solutions.
* Delivers training curriculum in a dynamic, energetic, positive and professional manner.
* Serves as operational procedures expert to restaurant operations.
* Rolls out new programs, procedures and products to restaurant teams.
* Mentors and supports restaurant Training Managers to achieve management training standards.
* Implements new training programs.
* Engage, educate, excite, and empower both employees and customers alike with the same level of passion and commitment.

Minimum requirements:
* Minimum of three years’ experience in a restaurant /retail sales environment
* New Store Opening experience preferred.
* College Degree preferred.
* 2-5 years minimum restaurant / retail operations management experience.
* ServSafe

* Significant travel will be required.
* Excellent communication skills across all levels of organization, both verbal and written, in addition to strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain positive, lead, and embrace change.
* Passion for operations and processes and ability to train others on those standards.
* Dynamic thinker and solutions owner; able to analyze issues and problem resolutions to drive process improvements.
* Confident in training/speaking in front of large groups of up to 20 people.
