Brand Growth:
- Directly report to Danny Putnam (Owner/Operator), working with the leadership team
- Manage marketing budget of around $10,000 (or 1.5% of projected monthly sales) – including 1% IMS and MLM fund.
- Drive Chick-fil-A One App usage
- Update and train leadership team every week regarding marketing activities, and results
- Represent Chick-fil-A Encinitas in quarterly San Diego Marketing Director meetings across all San Diego Chick-fil-As
- Work operationally in the restaurant during peak hours.

- Create monthly and quarterly marketing calendar and present to Operator
- Conduct promotional analysis and keep record for future promotions
- Monthly meeting brainstorming and planning with leadership team
- Build key relationships with organizations and schools that are focused on our primary key areas of influence: education, youth sports, youth programs, and leadership
- Fully manage events of marketing for Chick-fil-A Encinitas:
- In- restaurant events
- Food distributions
- Manage Spirit nights
- ADP (additional distribution points) booth set up and management at events and/or concessions, including ringing in sales at end of night
- Mobile and social media promotions
- Become expert on new product launches, reading on Chick-fil-A Now and spreading knowledge and information to operating team
- Form strong community relationships in Encinitas and the surrounding communities, including Moms groups and local library events, including surprise and delight opportunities to community
- Run contests to drive seasonal products, including sampling in the restaurant
- Use Chick-fil-A marketing assets like the Chick-fil-A Cow and “Be Our Guest” cards
- Install all corporate Point of Purchase marketing collateral, including price changes on menu boards
- Create marketing collateral using Chick-fil-A tools (using Studio or outsourcing to existing supplier)
- Sample during lunch and/or dinnertime.
- Manage social media Facebook and Instagram accounts, including deciding what to boost (within budget decisions)
- Be available and prepared to work events at night or on weekends (1-2 estimated per month)

Public Relations:
- Work with Operator and PR consultant when press is needed to communicate through political or controversial topics.
- Actively represent the brand as a good ambassador that aligns with the Corporate position to “Be the World’s Most Caring Company”.

- Business relationships with community partners for business lunches in store
- Charity events – manage all requests for donation, log requests from website, present recommendations to Operator
- Build regular catering calendar with businesses and guests.
- Oversee and manage the Catering order submission and execution process
- Manage the delivery and set up of large catering orders.
- where required
- Leverage food, people, cows, and influence by sampling catering
- Follow up with guests for feedback on catering

- Highly flexible to adjust to quickly changing business needs
- Team player who enjoys working with different types of people

Expected schedule of 20-25 Hours/Week working strictly in a marketing role
Expected schedule of 30-40 Hours/Week if also working 15-20 hours operationally during rushes.
