Back of House Manager (Night Shift - 3pm to 11pm) (Crystal City)
Description
The Manager manages expectations to consistently provide remarkable experiences for each guest, all day, every day. This position focuses on the daily operation of the Back of House through effective leadership/management of staff positioning, quality, safety, and cleanliness. This position works closely with the Director of Procurement to ensure operational goals are met and that our team members are equipped and led to be successful.

Responsibilities---
Food Safety:
Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
Daily upkeep of quality control
Execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment (timers)Implementation and Operations of keeping a clean and food-safe environment to serve and protect our guests
Equip Team Members:
Coaching, teaching and training team members on policies and procedures and create a positive work environment for everyone
Trains and puts into the shift ideas given by Directors in order to accomplish yearly goals
Follow all Chick-fil-A standards and procedures. Ensure and coach Team Members/Leaders to consistently follow all Chick-fil-A processes and procedures.
Develop a restaurant culture of growth and hospitality minded team members and leaders. culture of product knowledge, stewardship, excitement and generosity.
Effectively coach and give direction
Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift and act as a role model
for our team
Facilities and Equipment:
Work with team members to properly steward restaurant equipment
Communicate equipment repair needs to Directors
Ensure stewardship systems are taking place throughout the restaurant
Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder if necessary
Financial Performance:
Effectively manage productivity throughout each shift
Monitor and reduce waste through proactive coaching and by setting the example
Maintain vision alignment with the Operator and the Director - Back of the House Financial Management:
Drive sales growth mentality and encourage creativity and innovation throughout the business.
Organizational Alignment:
Develop a restaurant culture of growth and hospitality minded team members and leaders.
A culture of product knowledge, stewardship, excitement and generosity. Incorporate this into training, ongoing development, communications and everyday culture.
Aligning daily practices with the vision of the organization
Management:
Create a center of excellence for area of responsibility by creating, leading, and implementing systems that will be the standard for innovation and high-performance teams throughout Chick-fil-A.
Perform discipline for actions that do not meet CFA standards and execute discipline documentation for all team members who fail to meet expectations.
Working with Director - Back of the House Director during hiring process, completing resume screening, interviews and reference checks as necessary.
Ensure Team Leaders are performing discipline for actions that do not meet Chick-fil-A standards as well as violations of the Team Member Handbook.
Ensure that leaders are finding appropriate coverage for call-offs and no shows.
Effectively lead the back of house team
Overseeing team members in preparing, cooking and presenting food safely, quickly and efficiently to meet the highest Chick-fil-A standards.
