Description
A Customer Account Manager plays a key role in assisting the Customer Accounts Department with lease agreement renewals. In this role you will also support the overall needs of the store by assisting other team members. You will have direct contact with customers and will act as a customer counselor for timely agreements and renewals. You’ll have an opportunity to work in an environment which prides itself on recognizing and rewarding top performers.

Manages the Customer Accounts Department, which is responsible for the renewal payment process. Responsible for achieving company goals in revenue, renewals, and write-off percentages.


Prior experience as sales agent, rental agent, account executive, account manager, account collection, rent to own, home furnishings, furniture, electronics, appliances sales is very helpful to the success at this job.

Requirements/Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
* The Acquisition and Maintenance of Customers
* Protect Company assets
* Direct immediate contact with all Customers who have not renewed their lease agreement(s), both in the field and on the phone
* First up to help set and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals
* Act as a Customer counselor who resells the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments
* Monitor and recommend payment frequency and renewal-date changes to the General Manager based on a Customer’s payment history
* Document all Customer appointments and maintain updated Customer information in the store computer system
* Monitor the accuracy of Customer classifications according to Customer payment history and habits
* Recommend the use of components from the Account Tool Belt to the General Manager for endorsement
* Supervise, develop, and schedule the activities of Customer Account Advisers
* Responsible for closing lease agreements per policy as second up to the GM
* Update renewals goal board daily
* Facilitate returns authorized by GM
* Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned
* Safely operate company vehicle
* Complete and maintain truck maintenance sheet weekly and route sheets daily
* Other tasks as assigned by management

Position requires
* Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and “dollying” merchandise 50-300 pounds
* All skills necessary to effectively perform all functions in the store
* Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
* Strong telephone etiquette and skills
* Good organizational skills
* Professional appearance
* Good driving skills

Pre-employment
Successful reference check and verification, drug screen, criminal background, and MVR (driving record), a valid Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy
