- Provide excellent customer service at the deli counter, including answering questions and taking orders.
- Slice meats and cheeses, prepare salads, sandwiches, and hot foods according to company standards.
- Package, label, weigh, and price deli products accurately.
- Maintain clean work areas, sanitize equipment, and follow all food safety guidelines.
- Stock and rotate deli items, check expiration dates, and assist with inventory counts.
- Operate deli equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, fryers, and scales.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic math skills for weighing and pricing items.
- Attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 25–40 lbs.
- Previous deli, grocery, or food service experience is helpful but not required.

- Frequent standing, bending, and lifting.
- Exposure to hot surfaces, sharp tools, and refrigerated areas.
- Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
