Job Summary:
The Meat Clerk is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the meat department by preparing, packaging, and displaying products while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer service. This role ensures customers receive fresh, high-quality products and helpful assistance with their purchases.

Requirements/Responsibilities
• Prepare, package, label, and stock meat products according to company standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked display cases
• Rotate product to ensure freshness and minimize waste
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist customers by answering questions, providing product recommendations, and
fulfilling special requests
• Weigh, price, and wrap products accurately
• Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of low stock or quality issues
• Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas regularly
• Support receiving and storage of deliveries
