H.F. Lenz Engineering is seeking an innovative and driven Electrical Engineer, who is experienced in electrical system design, to join our growing team in our Johnstown, PA headquarters. This role offers growth opportunities as you become responsible for broader aspects of Electrical Engineering and leading the design process, while gaining experience towards a PE license.

Requirements/Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to electrical and power system design including, engineering calculations, equipment selections, power distribution, lighting and security systems. You will work under the direction of a Professional Engineer to perform other design related tasks. This role offers growth opportunities as you become responsible for broader aspects of Electrical Engineering and leading the design process, while gaining experience towards a PE license.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform electrical system design using AutoCAD/Revit software applications.
Design power, lighting, security and telecom systems.
Perform electrical load calculations.
Size and select various types of electrical equipment.
Assist with electrical studies such as Arc Flash studies using SKM Power Tools.
Travel to project sites to survey existing conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project team members.
Work with clients, vendors and contractors on a limited basis.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Electrical/Lighting.
FE/EIT Certification is highly preferred.
3-5 years of related experience.
Experience with 3D modeling and Revit software platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word.
Occasional travel may be required.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects.
Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision.
Must be fully authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Must be able to obtain security clearances, as necessary.
