We are looking for a Kitchen Manger to supervise daily back of the house restaurant operations by providing leadership and direction to the culinary team. Ensure that all recipes, food prep, and presentation meet the restaurants specifications and commitment to quality.
KM responsibilities:
- Manager kitchen staff & coordinate food orders
- Supervise food prep & cooking
- check food plating & temperature
- Establish portion sizes
- schedule kitchen staff & shifts
- price menu items in the collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
- order food supplies and kitchen equipment
- train kitchen staff on prep & food plating techniques
- store food products in compliance with safety practices
- keep weekly and monthly cost reports
- maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area

- proven work experience as a Kitchen manager
- hands- on experience with planning menus & ordering ingredients
- knowledge of a wide range of recipes
- familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- excellent organizational skills
- conflict management abilities
- ability to manage a team in a fast- paced work enviornment
- flexibility to work during evenings & weekends
- food handlers certification
