Description
Delivery Specialists are primarily responsible for the delivery and set-up, as well as the pick-up of our merchandise (appliances, furniture, electronics, TVs, computers, and more).
Additional duties may include refurbishment of product, as well as some account maintenance / collections activities.
Typically, Delivery Specialists spend most of their time out of the store.

Hours of work and attendance:

** Scheduled Hours:
* . As a Part Time Delivery Specialist your scheduled hours will be a maximum of 28 hours per week.
* . Our goal is to work around your needs as well as the needs of the business. We would pre-plan your schedule approximately at least 2 weeks in advance, and work to have a consistent weekly schedule.
* . Schedules are expected to be followed as they are written with any concerns addressed with the manager at least 30 days in advance in lieu of a sudden emergency.

Delivery Specialist General Responsibilities:

** Skills and requirements:
* . Willing and able to be on time for every scheduled shift.
* . Maintain a valid State drivers license in good standing and any changes reported to supervisor(not required for Part Time Delivery Specialist)
* . Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
* . Basic money handling skills (counting change, safe handling of money and providing receipts to prevent losses)
* . Basic understanding of computer skills (using a keyboard, inputting data)
* . Basic reading skills (able to read addresses, customers names and input data in GPS or similar device)
* . Able to maintain acceptable hygiene standards (showered, hair washed, no offensive body odors)
* . Able to maintain acceptable dress code standards (clean shirts, pants. Safe footwear according to dress code policy)
* . Must demonstrate the ability to adhere to all safe driving practices according to state law.
* . Able and willing to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers, using any of the following: Phone call, text, instant messaging, in person or by any other means necessary within company guidelines.
* . Willingness to treat our customers and co-workers with respect at all times
* . Willing and able to perform all the essential physical functions of the position (see physical demands and work environment below)
* . Willing and able to adhere to all safety policies and procedures put in place to prevent damage to personal, company or customer property
* . Able to follow verbal and written directions in order to assemble, disassemble or repair merchandise within company guidelines.
* . Willing and able to use all provided materials to learn company policies and procedures associated with the position(s)
