About Us
The Leaf Cafe is a wellness-driven space rooted in the power of plants. We specialize in hemp-based products, herbal remedies, and functional beverages designed to support holistic health. Our mission is to empower our community to make informed, conscious choices for their well-being through education, organic alternatives, and compassionate service.
About the Role
We are looking for a wellness-minded individual with a background in nutrition, herbalism, or health coaching to join our passionate team. This role blends holistic education, customer support, and functional beverage service to create a nourishing, uplifting experience for every guest.
We're also expanding our offerings to include kava mocktails and developing a unique alcohol-alternative bar scene. We’re seeking someone who is excited to help lead this shift—especially during weekend and closing shifts, where you’ll often run the space solo and set the tone for an inviting, wellness-centered social atmosphere.
Drink-making or mixology experience is a plus but not required—we’ll train the right person who is enthusiastic about herbs, healing, and hospitality.

Qualifications:
Background or certification in Nutrition, Herbalism, Health Coaching, or related field (preferred but not required).
Passion for holistic health and alternative wellness culture.
Great interpersonal skills and a genuine love for helping others.
Responsible and confident working independently on weekend and closing shifts.
Experience in customer service or health retail is a plus.
Excited to learn or apply skills in herbal mixology and kava-based drinks.
Must be 21+ years old.
What You'll Do:
Wellness Coaching & Customer Support
Offer personalized guidance and product recommendations based on customer wellness goals.
Educate guests on the benefits of natural remedies, functional ingredients, and plant-based alternatives.
Provide approachable advice rooted in nutrition and holistic health principles.
Create a warm, supportive space that encourages community and connection.
Functional Beverage Crafting
Craft herbal and hemp-infused drinks, including new kava mocktails (training provided).
Share the health benefits of each ingredient and engage customers in their wellness journey.
Support the growth of an alcohol-free bar scene that’s social, fun, and health-forward.
Contribute to drink menu development with creative ideas and wellness insight.
Retail & Community Engagement
Manage POS, restocking, and store cleanliness during solo evening/weekend shifts.
Represent Leaf Cafe at local wellness events and help build our brand in the community.
Foster ongoing customer relationships and a sense of belonging.
Collaborate on special events, wellness nights, and product tastings.
Background or certification in Nutrition, Herbalism, Health Coaching, or related field (preferred but not required).
