Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana, with 19 restaurants in CA, and Las Vegas is hiring an experienced Sous Chef to join our great team.

Strong kitchen and dining room experience with great attention to the details of our food, recipes and execution of a quality guest and employee experience is required.

Prior experience as Sous chef is critical to success at this job.
Responsibilities include:
* . Food preparation and service for all meal periods
* . Recipe adherence and daily specials creation with an emphasis on Italian cuisine
* . Training and supervising kitchen staff
* . Adhering to food and facility safety requirements
* . Ensuring that quality and cost standards are consistently obtained
* . Completing kitchen administrative and human resource duties
* . Inventory, ordering, scheduling with cost control

Sous Chef should have a positive attitude and be able to communicate clearly, professionally, concisely and respectfully. Experience in a full service fine dining upscale restaurant is helpful..

Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work varied shifts including weekends.
