The Kitchen Coordinator is responsible for:
Always delivering crave-able food, in a timely manner, that meets or exceeds
Chick-fil-A Quality Requirements
Coaching the behaviors of all Team Leaders and Team Members who work in the Kitchen. Those behaviors include:
Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety
Hustle that creates surprisingly fast Speed of Service
Attention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures are followed
Execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment
Vigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the kitchen
Maintaining a LEAN production environment
Ensuring the kitchen is ready for a Backstage Tour with a 10 minute lead time
Inventory management
End-of-Month counts and input, Maintaining accurate transfer logs, Effective & efficient ordering
Coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all kitchen Team Members
Aligning daily practices of the Kitchen with the Core Values and Vision of the organization
Conduct 4 eFSA evaluations each year, ensure the eRQA is conducted each week, Daily Critical conducted two time each day
All kitchen Team Members trained to the eRQA hero products
All Directors, Shift Supervisors, and Team Leaders trained with the eFSA

Success Factors and Matching Measurements
How will you know this position has been successful?

We will know the Kitchen Coordinator is successful upon attaining the following:
CEM scores (to be measured in 30-day and 90-day increments):
CEM score for Overall Satisfaction > 80%
Areas of focus Order Accuracy > 98%, Taste of Food > 81%, Speed of Service > 78%
Positive Food Cost Gap < 0.50%
ROE scores (to be measured Quarterly and on 12-month rolling basis):
No Critical Findings, No High Risk Repeats
Product, Production Environment, Service, and Custom Environment > 90%

Requirements/Responsibilities
The Kitchen Coordinator should:
Work a minimum of 30 hours per week in the restaurant
Allocate at least one hour per week to planning
Focus on systematically and effectively communicating all Kitchen related goals and success factors to Team Members
Combine critical thinking and practical leadership to foster innovation
Effectively coach and give direction each shift with a focus on quality and flow of food
Enthusiastically and passionately lead the Kitchen team
