Our kitchen staff works in a fast paced, high energy environment.

The Assistant Director of Food Safety will report directly to the Back of House Director, and will also work with the Assistant Director of Training to ensure new hires and team members are being trained on Food Safety. The Assistant Director of Food Safety will be working with the team to ensure the restaurant is clean, safe, and organized.

The ADFS will maintain a minimum of 30 hours and is required to have open availability. Actual hours may fluctuate depending on business needs. They will be required to touch all time periods of the business periodically to ensure food safety.

This position will be very hands-on in restaurant operations. The ADFS will be responsible for ensuring team members are fulfilling food safety requirements, as well as supporting the team by keeping the store clean, decluttered, and organized.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the leadership team to maintain a safe restaurant
* Ensure successful visits from the health department
* Keep team current on all food safety procedures and instructions
* Set monthly goals and report progress in leadership meetings
* Oversee Time Temps, eRQA, and SDC
* Keep the team informed on food safety success and opportunities of improvement

Applicants will also be expected to be able work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Applicants must be able to maintain a minimum of 30 hours and is required to have open availability.

Prior experience as manager, supervisor, crew lead, shift lead, assistant manager, kitchen manager, BOH manager is very helpful to your success at this job.
