Delivery Coordinator Role Description
- The Delivery Coordinator is a position within Chick-fil-A Conyers that oversees the operation and growth of the Chick-fil-A Delivery department.
The Delivery Coordinator position:
- Is a full-time (30+ hours) position- hours will increase as demand grows.
- Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays
- Includes 100% local driving (will need to make deliveries)
- Reports to Sales and Brand Growth Manager

- The Delivery Coordinator is a position within Chick-fil-A Conyers that oversees the operation and growth of the Chick-fil-A Delivery department.

Requirements/Responsibilities
The following are overall (but not limited to) requirements for the Delivery Coordinator position. More details are included within each category.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
-Comprehensive knowledge of Chick-fil-A Delivery business
- Understand all the components of the Bringg App and Digital Q and proper troubleshooting for each platform.
- Ensure capacity settings are accurate (daily/hourly) within Digital Q to maximize sales and ensure quality and on-time % that ensure the growth of this business.
- Training Drivers
- Ensure there are adequate drivers at all times across all dayparts.
- Ensure any new dispatchers user settings are modified in Bringg App to allow permission to Dispatch.
- Ensure all new drivers have completed all driver paperwork, the existing training plan, and Pathway course for Chick-fil-A Delivery.
- Monitor compliance with Opening/Closing Checklist for Drivers.
- Manage the CFAD organization
- Manage all CFAD car maintenance. This includes but is not limited to oil changes, tires/other repairs, and ensuring cleanliness of vehicles (exterior/interior). Any/all expenses as it relates to CFAD vehicles should be approved by the Sales and Brand Growth Manager and the appropriate receipts sent to the Executive Assistant within 7 days of expense.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and proper functioning. This includes, but is not limited to, all delivery bags/heaters/etc.
- Manage CFAD delivery supplies inventory and ensure these requests are forwarded to the Sales and Brand Growth Manager to order in a timely manner (tamper proof stickers, condiment storage containers, etc.)
- Ensure the CFAD equipment storage and assembly areas are organized and remain clean at all times.
- Communicate to the Sales and Brand Growth Manager and Talent Director any specific needs for increased staffing due to existing trends that help ensure the growth of this business.
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
- Connect with the Sales and Brand Growth Manager once a month at a minimum.
- Align and communicate with all Delivery Drivers any/all new process/procedural changes in a timely manner.
- Meet with all Delivery Drivers once per quarter to review performance and any updates/brainstorming to improve this business.
IN-RESTAURANT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve in a secondary Team Member role when not serving as Delivery Coordinator.
- Monitor the Chick-fil-A Delivery operation as drivers come in and out of the restaurant for deliveries.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the CFAD area.
