The selected Operations Leader must be a self-driven individual, yet willing to serve others. The person will influence and be responsible for several facets of the organization, including but not limited to front counter, drive thru, kitchen operations, scheduling of team members, assist in recruitment and selection of new team member talent, customer & team member experience, food safety and quality, labor productivity, expense control. He/she will also responsible for leading sub groups of 10-20 team members in the organization, influence actions of the team, and the overall reputation of the brand. We are recruiting for a hands-on, results-oriented individual who desires to advance in the organization with higher roles and responsibilities. Few of the responsibilities are:

-Ensure proper Chick-fil-A standards are taught and maintained with measurable results
-Lead weekly Team Leader meetings to discuss key performance metrics, develop leaders, and communicate relevant business needs and information
-Keep store in like-new condition through equipment and facilities maintenance
-Ensure a balanced profit approach through intentional focus on labor, food cost, and IPO
-Partner with Talent/HR Leader to interview and select top talent
-Coach and develop Team Members, Team Leaders, and other leaders
-Build talent pipelines within team, recognizing and developing individuals with leadership potential
-Provide positive and negative performance feedback
-Build team culture and morale
-Develop new team members to excel in customer service, product safety, leadership, cleanliness and speed of service
-Conduct service checks to ensure that employees are maintaining all aspects of the Chick-fil-A Service and upholding restaurant principles
-Lead a weekly review focusing on particular service standards for specific areas

-Investigate and deploy innovative methods for recruiting team members
-Oversee creation of weekly Master Schedule and shift layouts to most effectively leverage team member skills
-Develop and maintain systems to ensure adequate staffing for unplanned deviations from schedule (callouts, unexpected sales, etc.)
-Develop and implement new strategies for team member recognition programs
-Create system for measuring employee satisfaction
-Facilitate healthy and productive discussions between team members to develop the best solutions for issues that arise
-Servant leadership mindset with proven leadership experience
-Proven ability to recognize strengths and passions in others
-Desire to develop people of all ages and skill levels
-Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills
-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize time
-Strong business acumen with proven ability to drive an area of business and achieve significant results with minimal supervision
-Bachelor’s degree preferred though not required
-Desire to grow business and personal skills while thriving in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to handle guest concerns, complaints, and issues by executing flawless follow-up and issue resolution
-Ability to improve and grow leaders through personal relationship-building
-Ability to communicate and collaborate with Senior Leadership /Operator to fulfill business needs
-Analytical and meticulous working style with a desire for self-growth
-Computer proficiency including e-mail, Microsoft Suite Applications, and data analysis reports

Additional Requirements:

-Be available to work 50 hours per week, including Saturdays – some evenings are required.
-Our company is closed for business on Sundays.
-Must enjoy working with people - the public and employees. Related experience, in any industry, with leading people is preferred; restaurant based experience is not necessarily preferred. Some of our successful leaders have come from various non-restaurant backgrounds.
