Our restaurant Leadership Development Position (LDP) provides career and advancement opportunities in many areas which can lead to advanced leadership roles.

Day to Day work would include hands-on leadership in a high-volume restaurant delivering our “Remark-able” Experience to our guests and our community. Our goal is to develop you as a high performing operations manager in our top-level Chick-fil-A restaurants and prepare you for a long-range career with Chick-fil-A. The work is fast and complex while actively engaging with team members and guests. We call it being "Fast, Friendly, and Accurate!"
Our Leadership Development Position participant will be provided a solid training foundation of Chick-fil-A service and food preparation, learning each aspect of our daily operations around the restaurant, demonstrating Operational Excellence at each station. They will also engage in training others as they move through the rotation of task responsibilities.

Once foundational training is completed, the LDP participant will learn to actively lead team members first, then leaders and shifts, and then one of our Operational Departments according to their strengths, career interests, performance in their given responsibilities and role vacancies.

Participants interested in pursuing the Operator Selection program, will work in all of these operations areas as they move toward understanding restaurant operations at Chick-fil-A as a whole.

* Participating operationally in day to day activities in high-volume fast-paced restaurant.
* Grow to Lead, Plan, & Organize complex daily activities
* Grow to Be Responsible for, and lead, Operations Departments (i.e. Front of House, Drive-thru, Back of House).
* Offer the Team encouragement to stay true to 2nd Mile Service goals.
* Offer immediate/respectful response to Guest's needs.
* Own key aspects of the business (i.e. inventory, guest experience, safety, quality).
* Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, act as a role model for our team.
* Be a friendly encouraging team player
* Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder.
* Count Drawers and Finalizing Day.

Restaurant Junior Team Leader and Senior Team Leader positions are generally offered as a full time or part time restaurant job.
Operational Director level positions are full-time roles.

Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, project lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager are very helpful to your success at this job. And we love previous Chick-fil-A experience!
