Maintenance Director

NOW HIRING! Chick-fil-A Rives Ave. has immediate availability for a Maintenance Director. This position a Full time position. This position is the PERFECT fit for someone who loves working with their hands and fixing things!

Responsibilities:

- Must be knowledgeable of all cleaning and maintenance requirements for the restaurant

- Ensures all daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning & maintenance are completed in restaurant within budget constraints

- Work with the BOH and FOH leaders to develop cleaning and maintenance schedules for their areas

- Makes recommendations to the operational leads about restaurant cleanliness

- Schedules all repairs and maintenance

- Makes recommendations about outside vendors

- Advises staff on “in-house” repairs

- Ensures all cleaning supplies in restaurant are well organized and stored according to health code

- Achieves strategic, annual cleanliness results through focus and action on tactical monthly and quarterly objectives and tasks

- Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction & feedback

- Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items

- Follow sanitation and safety procedures

- Repair broken equipment

- Touch up Painting when needed

- Any special projects needed

- All other duties as assigned:

Maintenance of the following equipment:

-Fryers, Ovens, Coolers/ Thaw Cabinets/ Freezers, Biscuit Mixer, Dishwasher, Ice Cream Machine, Tea & Coffee Brewer, Toasters, Warming Chutes/Drawers, Power wash store, Clean Windows, Ice Machine, HVAC (Basic Filter Maintenance, cleaning), Breakfast Grill, Building

Required Qualifications:

- Experience as a leader is preferred but not required

- Prior Maintenance experience is preferred but not required

- Self Motivated

- Basic computer competency

Required Skills:

- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to standing for up to 9 hours, lifting up to 50lbs and working outdoors in the elements.

- Ability to multitask

- Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient and thorough pace

- Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic

- Positive attitude

- Willingness to step outside of job role to assist in other roles

- Effective communicator
