In this role you are responsible for ensuring operational efficiency as well as general management of prep production and day-to-day service.
• 2-3 years managerial/supervisory experience required, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Food handlers certificate required
• Strong leadership skills, ability to make decisions, and multi-task

Requirements/Responsibilities
• Develop, train and mentor new staff while acting as a resource for existing team members
• Hiring, compensation evaluation, employee recognition
• Schedule-writing
• Discipline, termination
• Determine daily, weekly and long-term needs of the kitchen; delegate those tasks to appropriate staff and ensure successful completion of individual department goals
• Ensure proper compliance and adherence to all appropriate health and safety regulations and cleanliness requirements including Food Safety and department organization.
• Audit product quality and freshness, address and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Meet regularly with owners to review processes and systems, address staff needs, develop the department and make changes to systems as necessary
• Assist in working alongside Store managers to execute sales, auditing product and production
• Oversee production for special events, photo shoots, and promotions as needed. Ensure product consistency and quality
• Help control financial targets and create budgets + forecasts for labor, food cost, waste, etc.
• Manage department inventories and ensure the production area is fully stocked
• Oversee, coordinate and ensure successful completion of short and long term production projects; creating production plans and updating menu change checklists as they arise
• Hold regular meetings and check-ins
• Create production plans that maximize the use of labor and minimize waste while upholding quality standards
• Maintain production pars
• Fully understand and exhibit the BOPOMOFO ethos, embody our core values, Serve as a brand ambassador, both internally and externally.
