Full service toxic tort, pharmaceutical, and catastrophic injury litigation firm with offices in Texas and California which practices in the areas of Mesothelioma/Asbestos litigation, other toxic exposures, products liability, and general pharmaceutical and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases.
Job Duties and Required Qualifications:
The qualified applicant will assist in the management and work-up of numerous asbestos/Mesothelioma personal injury and wrongful death law files and support two or more case-managing attorneys.

Duties and qualifications are as follows:
• 3+ years litigation experience from a medium to large size firm in the paralegal field of plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation, preferably asbestos
• Strong Organization, oral and written communication, and analytical skills
• Detail oriented, adherence to deadlines, ability to multi-task
• Ability to learn quickly and function in a fast-paced environment
• Draft and send assorted documents to clients, counsel and courts as needed, such as correspondence, deposition notices, contracts, briefs, motions, orders, petitions, and discovery
• Responsible for proper filing and service of all documents
• Experienced with e-filing and e-service in multiple jurisdictions; must have experience using online file and serve portals such as Pacer, ECF, Lexis, etc.
• Experienced with managing case deadlines across multiple cases filed in different jurisdictions
• Experienced in communicating with local counsel in other jurisdictions to get documents filed or served
• Creative problem solver who takes initiative to accomplish tasks with a minimal level of supervision
• Ability to work with/around various attorney personalities
• A team player with a great attitude
• Ability to maintain a busy caseload between 30-50 cases
• Experienced with a variety of computer applications and internet programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, LexisXpress File & Serve, LexisAdvance or (research), ECF/Pacer, Amicus or Needles (client database)
• Must be able to type 40-50+ WPM
