Description
We are looking for experienced Barista available to start immediately and undertake extensive training with Counter Culture at their Training Center.
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and accompanying food products in a friendly and engaging manner.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent presentation and verbal skills alongside immaculate attention to detail. The candidate must be passionate about consistently delivering the perfect cup of coffee and a first class customer service experience.

Foodhall is an exciting new food and drink market at the corner of Valencia Street and 16th Street in the Mission (one block away from BART). Located in a historic building that used to house a Wells Fargo branch, the space is exquisitely designed by London-based architects William Tozer. Foodhall aims to create a tailored and unique food and drink shopping experience for customers to enjoy and remember. Offering an impressive array of products from around the globe, we are looking for people passionate about food and highly motivated to deliver the highest standards of customer service.

Barista is generally offered as a part time opportunity. Longer hours may be available.

Prior barista, retail, customer service, coffee making, pastry shop, coffee roastery experience very desirable.

• Ensures that all customers are educated on our products and services.
• Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standards.
• Follows all company drink recipes and procedures.
• Participates in all sales promotions effectively and efficiently.
• Safely handles all hot and cold drinks during drink preparation.
• Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers.
• Maintains efficient, friendly service standards.
• Restocks shelves when necessary.
• Routinely cleans the bar area, grinders, take out trash, etc.
• Reports potential safety hazards to the manager on duty.
• Reports all employee accidents to the manager on duty.
• Informs the manager on duty of any operational inconsistencies.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, well-merchandised store.
• Assists in following visual presentation plans and standards.
• Able to train new baristas.
• Works special events, as needed.
• Maintains positive company morale.

Prior barista, retail, customer service, coffee making, pastry shop, coffee roastery experience very desirable.
